I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa and moved to Davenport in 2004 to attend St. Ambrose University. I graduated in 2008 with a Music Composition and Theory degree and spent the next 12 years playing and teaching around the Midwest. After a couple of years working at West Music, my family and I decided it was time for a change, and I joined Monica’s team in January of 2025.
My wife Erin is a medical librarian and a musician as well, and my daughter Rosalie is a kindergartner who loves art and gymnastics.

My name is Emma, and I am an account manager at Monica Hursey State Farm! My background started in the marketing world at an insurance company in Des Moines. That’s where my professional career experience started, back in 2022. I started with Monica’s office in April of 2025 and am now licensed in property and casualty insurance services in Iowa!
I am from DeWitt, but I love getting to know the Eldridge community! In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my rescue pup, Oreo, and going on walks with him. I went to Iowa State (go cyclones!) but have since moved back to the small-town life.
My role at Monica Hursey is to help you with all your auto, renter’s or home insurance needs! I’ve already met many of you but look forward to meeting many more!
